Big White Ski Resort Kelowna

Big White Ski Resort

Searching for the ultimate dog friendly getaway? No matter what time of year, Big White Ski Resort welcomes your dog with open arms.

During the winter months you can spend your day snowshoeing in a secluded winter wonderland with your pooch by your side. With options available from beginner to advanced, all ages and skill levels can enjoy the wilderness Big White has to offer.

Dogs are permitted almost anywhere on the mountain, but are not allowed inside any restaurants due to provincial health regulations. You can check out the Village Centre Mall with your dog once you exchange a donation for a Pet Pass. Everyone wins here as all proceeds go to the SPCA.

After your dog models for a photoshoot, you will receive a printed photo of your dog with their name and your phone number to act as an ID while playing on the mountain.

Not a fan of cold weather? Things heat up on Big White in the summer. Take your dog on a scenic chairlift ride and enjoy hiking along alpine lakes, to mountain peaks or through wildflower meadows. With views like this you won't want to leave, so we suggest bringing lots of water, a hat and bring extra layers to protect against sudden changes in weather.

For the safety of dogs, humans and wildlife all pups must be on leash when in the village or exploring at Big White.
